Ultimately, this form of treatment is cost-effective in comparison to other treatments such as SSRI (Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors) or in conjunction. The debate continues over whether these two treatments should be utilized together rather than independently. CBT and SSRI both work on their own, but those with panic disorder or agoraphobia may benefit from both.
